Children are an important part of the life of First Baptist Church and we strive to provide ample opportunity for worship, spiritual growth and fellowship.  Our Children's Ministry is led by Janet Shelton.

Sunday School @ 9:45-10:45 am   First Baptist Church has a wonderful group of dedicated Sunday School teachers who offer Bible based instruction.  Each class is divided age-appropriate and is supplemented with take home information for the parents to continue the conversation about each week's lesson at home!

Junior Church is an exciting, energy filled, age appropriate worship experience for children kindergarten through sixth grade.  It meets at the 11:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings.  The children attend regular worship service in the sanctuary and then are dismissed early in the worship hour to go to the Junior Church room in our Educational Building.  Signs are posted to guide you, or ask any usher for directions!

TeamKID  (Kids In Discipleship)--  TeamKID is a fast paced Wednesday night program for children kindergarten through fifth grade.  We meet in the Junior Church room from 6:30-8:00 pm.  Each week we learn a new lesson from God's word and hear about missionaries from around the world, and what we can do to help support their ministry. 

Middle School Bible Study every Wednesday is led by Heather and Waverly Coggsdale and all middle school students are welcome!  This group meets every Wednesday evening from 6:30-8pm.  This is an amazing time to connect with other middle school youth and discuss issues that are specifically relevant to this age group.  The Coggsdales lead a fun, guided discussion designed around topics that can bring you closer in your relationship with Christ, or help you develop a relationship with Him!
